Me2Me transfers no longer available as of June 11, 2026

Effective June 11, 2026, Me2Me transfers will be discontinued through Outlook Financial digital banking, as this service will no longer be supported.

Members can continue to transfer funds to and from another Canadian financial institution using other available options, including:

Interac eTransfers®
Cheque deposits - write a cheque from your Outlook Financial account and deposit it into your account at another financial institution, including through Mobile Remote Deposit Capture. To order cheques please visit Order Cheques webpage.
Automated transfers - initiated by your other financial institution if the service is available

Reminder: Outlook Financial account holders receive one free debit per month. Automated transfers and cheque transactions are included as part of the one free debit per month. Fees associated with additional debits will be applied as per Service Fees. Interac eTransfers® are $1.50 per transaction. Fees for cheque orders vary depending on the style and quantity of the cheques you order. Contact us for details.

What you need to know

Members can continue using the Me2Me Transfer Now option until 10:00 p.m. CDT on June 11, 2026.

If you have any future-dated or recurring Me2Me transfers scheduled after June 11, 2026, they will not go through.

Merger Commitments in Action: Keystone Centre Partnership

Assiniboine Credit Union announces executive retirements

Assiniboine Credit Union CEO Kevin Sitka today announced the retirement of Jim Rediger and Joël Rondeau. Rediger and Rondeau joined ACU as Chief Strategic Project Officers following the January 1, 2025, merger of Caisse Financial Group, Westoba Credit Union and Assiniboine Credit Union (ACU). They will both retire in June.

Rediger and Rondeau both enjoyed long and distinguished careers in financial services and the system of financial co-operatives.

Rediger’s credit union career spanned 40 years, starting at SaskCentral — the trade association for Saskatchewan credit unions, where he held several positions — before he moved on to Canora Credit Union as Manager of Lending Operations, and Crossroads Credit Union as CEO. He came west in 2013 to take on the role of CEO at Brandon-based Westoba Credit Union.

Rondeau began his career as a chartered accountant and joined the Caisse populaire system in 1998, where he held roles in finance, operations and executive management before becoming CEO of Caisse Financial Group in 2010. Over the course of his tenure as CEO, Manitoba’s Caisses populaires grew from $800 million in combined assets into a unified body with over $2 billion in assets.

“Joël and Jim leave behind legacies of success for their respective organizations, the wider system of Manitoba-owned financial co-operatives, and ACU,“ Sitka said. “And we at ACU will continue to benefit from the talent and caliber their teams have brought to our new organization, thanks in no small part to their leadership.”

“From the time we started talking about merger, over two years ago, to guiding their organization through the approval process, Joël and Jim displayed an incredible level of commitment and care for their members, employees and communities,” Sitka said.

“It was a distinct pleasure to work with them and I wish them the very best.”

Introducing DocuSign, a Digital Signature Solution

Outlook Financial is making significant improvements to enhance the member experience. We are pleased to announce the integration of DocuSign, a digital signature solution, to modernize our processes and streamline member requests.

What does this mean for you?

This latest digital enhancement will:

Allow members to complete, sign and submit forms electronically
Eliminate the need for members to print and mail documents
Save time and cost of postage, while reducing paper consumption
Requests will be processed more quickly and efficiently

The technology is integrated throughout our website, so the process will be seamless for members: there’s no need to download new software or adjust your settings.

Our goal is to provide a seamless, digital first experience for all Outlook Financial members. This new solution takes us much closer to achieving that goal.

Immediate Me2Me transfers will no longer be available

Effective April 30, 2025, immediate Me2Me transfers will no longer be available. The Transfer Now option will still appear in digital banking however, transactions performed using this option will not occur immediately and will be counted as a monthly debit.

Outlook Financial account holders will still have the ability to complete scheduled and recurring Me2Me transfers. Other methods of account transfers include Interac e-Transfers® and Outlook Financial account-to-account transfers.

Reminder: Outlook account holders receive one free debit per month. Fees associated with additional debits will be applied as per Service Fees.
